Animal Experiences
Exploring, caring, and connecting with the animal world
Children benefit from regular hands-on experiences with animals, developing empathy, care, and curiosity. We invite a variety of exotic animals such as geckos, tarantulas, and snakes, as well as local beekeepers who teach children about hives and allow them to taste fresh honey. In spring, we observe ducklings hatching, giving children a first-hand understanding of life cycles.
Twice a month, our PAT (Pets As Therapy) Dog visits, offering comfort and emotional support. Children learn to interact gently, observe animal behavior, and develop responsibility while forming positive relationships with the animals around them. These experiences foster respect for all living things and help children understand the natural world in an engaging, memorable way.
