Our Daily Schedule

At FRS Kindergarten, our days are thoughtfully structured to balance play, learning and rest. We have well-established routines that support children’s development and sense of security, while also remaining flexible so that children’s interests, ideas and curiosities can be followed and supported.

Children enjoy a rich mix of child-led exploration, small group activities and guided learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors. Our flexible routine encourages independence, creativity and social development, while ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured and supported throughout the day.

Each day begins with a calm carpet-time session, where children come together to connect, share ideas and be introduced to the day’s learning in a gentle, supportive way.

Throughout the morning, children take part in:

Mid-morning snack time, supporting healthy routines and social skills
Adult-led learning activities, carefully planned around children’s next steps
Child-led play and exploration, where interests and ideas are followed
Free-flow play between the indoor and outdoor environments

We end each morning with a group time, enjoying stories, songs, yoga or games together before lunch, helping children settle and reflect on their learning.

Across the week, we offer a variety of special experiences that enrich our curriculum:

Tuesday: Hebrew sessions, introducing language and culture in fun, interactive ways
Wednesday: Visits from our friendly therapy dog, supporting children’s wellbeing and confidence
Thursday: Physical fun with Super Star Sports, developing coordination and teamwork
Friday: We celebrate Shabbat together, sharing songs, traditions and a strong sense of community

These highlights are just a snapshot of our week — every day is filled with a wide range of learning opportunities shaped by the children’s interests, development and curiosity.

Breakfast Session: 8:15 – 9:15
Morning Session: 9:15 – 12:15
Afternoon Session: 12:15 – 2:45
Extended Session: 2:45 – 4:45

We are currently open during term time. From September 2026, we are excited to offer extended weeks, providing 47 weeks of provision per year to better support our families.
